Grooming

Even if dogs shed minimal fur, they still need to be brushed and bathed, albeit in a specific manner. There won´t be a need to remove large amounts of fur from the house; a weekly brushing with a soft brush will suffice.

This not only removes dead hair but also minimizes fur shedding around the house, on furniture, and clothing. Additionally, regular brushing helps distribute natural oils on the dog´s skin, making its coat shiny and healthy.

Regarding baths, there is no need for frequent washing. Once a month or every two months should be adequate. Of course, if your dog gets very dirty during walks, it might need more frequent baths. Keep in mind that dogs are sensitive to the cold, so make sure to use lukewarm water and dry them well afterward.

To make bath time easier, ensure to tire out the dog with a nice walk beforehand. This will make it more relaxed during the bath. Brushing before the bath helps remove excess hair without clogging your drain. Be sure to use products specifically designed for dogs and protect their ears from water contact.

Remember also to regularly trim your dog´s nails to avoid mobility issues and discomfort.

In summary, it´s important to provide proper care to maintain their appearance and overall well-being.
